CalGecko > There's a 17mm bolt going through the bottom of the shock, that holds it to the lower control arm

CalGecko > using wrench and socket/ratchet, remove the bolt

CalGecko > I had to use a breaker bar to break it loose

CalGecko > apply downward pressure on the lower control arm, and slide a screwdriver through the hole that you just removed the bolt from, so that the bottom of the shock rests on it

CalGecko > Right here, where I'm placing the ratchet/socket, there's another 17m bolt that goes vertically into the lower control arm and holds the 'tongue' of the hub into the lca

CalGecko > here's a shot looking downwards at the ratchet on the bolt. remove the bolt

CalGecko > swing the hub out, and slide a breaker bar into the lower control arm where the 'tongue' went.. you'll need to apply a fair amount of downward pressure on the breaker bar.

CalGecko > Go back to the 14mm nuts on the shock mount, and remove them
